NEW YORK

I DIDN'T TAKE MANY PICTURES SO YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT ALLYS BLOG, I STARTED OUT RIDING ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH BRIAN IN THE TRUCK, I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE BUMPY AND TIRING, BUT THAT WAS IN THE OTHER TRUCK THAT I WENT IN LAST TIME. THIS TRUCK WAS WONDERFUL, THE SEAT WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE VIEW WAS GREAT, WE LIVE IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, AND THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN SEE IT IS TO DRIVE IT. I KNOW BRIAN GETS TIRED OF IT, BUT IT WAS SO GREAT FOR ME TO SEE THE WORLD, OTHER THAN FROM A PLANE. WE HAD A GOOD TIME JUST BEING WITH EACH OTHER, AND TALKING, WE HAVN'T DONE THAT FOR AWHILE, THEN WE GOT TO PITTSBURG AND PICKED UP KEVIN AND ALLY, THEN THE FUN REALLY BEGAN, FIRST OF ALL AFTER WE UNLOADED IN NEW JERSEY, THE ONE DRIVER TOLD US IF WE WALKED ACROSS THE PARK WE COULD GET ON THE FERRY TO ELLIS ISLAND AND THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, NOT. WE HAD TO WALK FOREVER, PROBABLE AT LEAST 5 MILES, THEN WE HURRIED AND GOT OUR TICKETS TO GET ON THE FERRY, FINALLY WE DID AND WENT TO ELLIS ISLAND WHERE WE FOUND PAUL CHUTKAS NAME ON THE WALL HE WAS ONE OF THE IMMIGRANTS THAT FIRST CAME, THAT WAS BRIANS GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER, IT WAS COOL TO SEE THAT, THEN WE GOT BACK ON THE FERRY TO GO TO THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, AND HAD TO STAND IN LINE FOR WHAT SEEMED FOREVER, TO GET THROUGH SECURITY, AND THEN THROUGH SECURTIY, AND THEN 185 STEPS TO THE OBSERVATION DECK, WHAT A GREAT SIGHT IT WAS SO COOL. TO SEE HER STANDING WITH HER TORCH, THEN GOT BACK ON THE FERRY, AFTER LOTS OF PICTURES BY ALLY, AND WENT TO NEW YORK, CAUGHT A TAXI TO GRAND CENTRAL STATION, WOW WHAT A PLACE, TOOK THE TRAIN TO CONNECTICUT,BRIAN PICKED US UP AND THEN WENT TO THE HYATT TO REST AND CLEAN UP. THEN WE SHOWED ALLY AND KEVIN ALL THE GREAT EATING PLACES, MANSIONS, AND THE BOAT THAT WE WENT FISHING IN. IT WAS SO GREAT TO HAVE THEM TO OUR SELVES, AND LET THEM MEET OUR FRIENDS,AND FAMILY.WE LAUGHED AND CRIED, THERE WAS SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO, FROM GROUND ZERO, TO CHINA TOWN, YES I TAUGHT ALLY HOW TO BARGIN WITH THE PEOPLE, AND THEN WE WENT AND PLAYED IN THE RAIN, IN MANHATTEN, WHAT A WONDERFUL CRAZY PLACE. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME JUST CALL AND TELL US. WE HAVE ROOM IN THE TRUCK, NO MORE THAN 2 AT A TIME THOUGH, UNLESS YOU FLY OUT. AND YES I FLEW BACK, I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME, AND LOVED THE TIME WE GOT TO SPEND WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

It sounds like it was chuck full of fun and excitement. It was good that you could take them and show them places that they will be able to go back to. I bet they loved it! See you soon.
